We rescued these and thought we'd pass them on to the next MCM fan at a great price — $800 for the pair.
They're both made of American walnut by Kroehler Furniture and they come with the original sales literature. For 40 year old pieces, they're in amazing condition. The sideboard has slight blemishes where four feet sat (there must have been a small chest or box sitting on top) — the worst is pictured below. The doors and drawer fronts have a great reverse-grain inlay and the handles are carved and lacquered a contrasting black. They are constructed of solid walnut, solid oak and walnut veneer and are all in amazing condition.The newspaper lining the sideboard is the sports and finance section from the Oakland Tribune (1977)… I'm leaving it in there as it'd be a crime otherwise.
Originally delivered in July, 1966, the sideboard is 61W X 18D X 30H and the hutch is 36inW X 12(16)D X 62H.
