Have you been inside? What a great deal… we have been looking for a well-priced Eichler for awhile. WHy is it so low?
i haven’t been in, but like any 40 year old house, it’ll need something… ours certainly did. in a short sale, as i understand it, the bank only is interested in getting what’s due on the mortgage — which in this case must be $390ish… there might be higher bids by potential buyers, and of course, the bank will take the highest and most-solid bid. kind of like a no-reserve ebay auction.
This is a very good opportunity to pick up an Eichler for a below market price. It needs work, someone to return it to the mid-century modern design. Take advantage of this buyers market.
