We've salvaged some sliding doors (sliding panels only — all sizes) from a house under renovation and will be stripping them (handles, actuators, rollers, etc)… and will be warehousing the parts in our garage for posterity.
Unfortunately, the entirety of the doors will have to go soon (frames, glass). The doors themselves are presently intact, so if you need a whole sliding panel, please let me know ASAP. They've been painted white, but can be restored easily.
After this weekend, the doors will be gone, but we'll have all of the parts we were able to salvage… so if you ever need anything, drop me a line.
(Thanks to Erina and Alan for the donation of the doors and parts)…
I need a lock handle for our master bedroom. I’m across town on Merridan Dr. Do you have one or is it spoken for?

jeff: i’m sure i have what you’re looking for… drop me a line via email (link above somewhere)…
Hi,
I am looking for a replacement rubber strip for one of the orginial (arcadia) sliding doors in my Eichler. This is the piece the covers the track and over whci the door whels roll. The current one I have is torn and almost dead.
Would you still have this piece available?
Thanks,
Sami
sorry. don’t have that piece. we weren’t able to salvage the door trim pieces, just the handles and rollers. you might be able to find something similar at outwater plastics (outwater.com)…
You don’t still happen to have a lock mechanism do you? The spring is broken in mine so it likes to lock itself, which is dangerous when you don’t have keys with you…
I need to measure, but it looks like this is it too if you don’t have one: http://www.allaboutdoors.com/product_info.php?products_id=15075
FYI, for anyone finding this post in the future – the part I linked to above was indeed the right part and works great.
I realize these comments are old, but I’m looking for the actual metal locking mechanism that swings out and hooks. We just bought a 1961 MCM with fantastic Arcadia sliding doors. Let me know if you still have any parts or if you know somewhere I can look.
Thanks!
