We've been busy…
In addition to the Integrated CSSU (with built-in speakers), we're seeing a lot of possibilities in the realm of AV and media storage solutions — the latest is the CSSU-LP… a shelving unit designed specifically around the storage of 12in vinyl records.
A simple re-sizing of our traditional CSSU makes an ideal record storage solution with 13in high and 13in deep bays. The legs of the CSSU support the outside of the sleeve, so even if there are no side panels, records can still remain upright and supported.
We're starting simple — the CSSU-LP1 (pictured below) which is a 1×2 (1 bay wide and 2 high) tower and the CSSU-LP2 (under construction) which is a 2X1 (2 bays wide and 1 high) bench which — being bench-height — also serves as a seating surface. As with our traditional CSSUs, the bays are a standard 23in which leaves you with 46in of vinyl storage (we'll let you do the math there). All units come with the now-standard adjustable legs in walnut.
