We had some interior painting to do today and I used this paint on the interior of a garage… I was simply looking for a low-cost white paint that didn't cost $45/gallon. At $15 — almost 1/3 the price of Behr premium paint — this performed well. I sprayed and back-rolled the walls and sprayed the trim. This was on new drywall which was both prep-coated and primed. I used the flat finish (the picture is a stock one and shows eggshell)… Results: Good.

The job was finished in 2 coats. It took 1.5 gallons to cover about 250sqft. I found that when sitting for a few minutes, it became "stickier" than any paint I've used and when drying on the wall became similarly sticky… a problem for insects. In my Graco sprayer, it "spattered" more than any paint I've used, but since I was backrolling, it was fine.
Why Glidden and not Kelley-Moore or Sherwin Williams? Home Depot was open at 9:45PM on a Friday night and we were to start painting at first light on Saturday morning. As much as I like my local pro paint store, convenience wins out often.
Lots of folks have opinions on paint and I might tend to spend a lot on an exterior paint, but for a light color and for a garage, this was perfect.
