We have a vintage (mid-1960s) Danish Modern walnut desk for sale. (Sold to Dave… who amazingly has a matching end-table. It's such a pretty piece, though, I'll leave the photos up for posterity).
It's made by Lane of Altavista,Virginia and it is in excellent vintage condition. It's made of solid walnut, walnut veneer and oak — and it's quite well-made… even the back is fully-finished with the same solid wood and veneer as the sides.
Drop us a line if you'd like to have it in your home.

Cool blog! oddly I found you via apartment therapy, and I am just in walnut creek. Even funnier, my mother in law lives in a cool eichler on San Carlos drive in walnut creek and she had a neighbor, John, who grew with nine kids in a concord eichler too!, Too weird of a coincidence. My MIL has stayed true to much of the modern design style, more so because it fits her German heritage, I think, then style but none the less a cool place! I have often thought how cool it would be to transform her home into a MCM showcase. Great to find this little bit of fun,!
