This was the wort part of the flooring removal. We finally succeeded by scoring the vinyl with a blade and soaking the surface with a Methyl-Chloride-based stripper, then scraping with a blade.



although I did not get to experience helping you with your demo… I was travelling at the time… I do feel for you and the vinyl… when we were removing our sheet vinyl and then the paper backing, there was a point where I thought I was going to break down and cry… I thought “what the hell have I gotten myself into”… helpful hint to others… if you are removing from a concrete slab, wet the paper backing down with water, let dry, and repeat about 4-5 times… then use a floor scraper, much easier…
