Hi!
First, sorry! What a wreck we left you!
Second, I haven’t lived there for 25 years but I still recognize some of your treasures/crap….
1. The St. Agnes bicentennial ticket…boy, that was something. I was 11. There was a parade.
2. I’ve been wondering where the five of hearts was!
3. The picture of a child…that’s Cecelia. She’s almost 30 now.
Love the blog. Thank you for telling us what’s happening!
That is so cool! We hid little things in my childhood home. When my dad put in the skylight we all wrote messages before he added the dry wall (? – actually not sure what stage it was in.)
wow those were all amazing finds. my favorite is the conserve california thing. that should be framed and on my wall. lol.
^^^ former owner comment! wow! i wondered about the kid… amazing that our histories can string together.
WOW,
I love seeing the great stuff you are doing to the home I lived in from 1964 until 1983 (when I went off to college).
I remember the circle cards…what a hoot!
The postcard is to me, Megan. I think it is from about 1974, when I was 11.
I have bookmarked your site. I am so very interested in your restoration. My husband and I have often thought of how to restore this house. I am so glad that you have taken this on.
I look forward to the next installment.
