When shipping, each board and panel is individually wrapped in shipping paper, and bundled — and the lot is encased in polystyrene foam and crated with OSB and ancillary wood. It's a pretty solid unit.
Crating is usually about $25-40 (I charge only for materials) and shipping is between $75 and $100… this one weights in at 110lbs and has a $99 shipping charge via FedEx ground (and it's larger than a typical 2X2).
