When making the maple multi-ply topped stools<\/a>, I was left with 3 very nice, new nylon-covered cushions which were original to the bases. What to do?<\/p>\n

Make a bench, of course.<\/p>\n

This one stands 16in high and is 38in long and 14in deep (the
\ncushions are 12in square). It is made of cumaru and multi-ply and joined
\nwith pocket-screws and stainless steel face-screws capped with a
\ncontrasting cumaru plug.<\/p>\n

I'll be making more based on this design, but until then: anyone need
\na bench? Until I get an Esty.com site set up it's for sale via Craigslist<\/a> for $50.<\/p>\n
