What started as a simple record\/turntable storage unit turned into the +MOV, +XL, +HD, and +MIN &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Claire-CSSU_05\" border=\"0\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8345166b769e201bb0889f3c2970d image-full img-responsive\" src=\"\/norcalmod\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/09\/6a00d8345166b769e201bb0889f3c2970d-800wi.jpg\" title=\"Claire-CSSU_05\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>+MOV \/\/ Casters&#8230; it&#039;s a simple addition, but we wanted to find just the right ones. When Claire mentioned casters, I had thought of the typical industrial ones, but we both had hoped for something cooler&#8230; then I found ones made by the same company since the 60s (and they seem to be the only people who have \u2014 and do \u2014 make them&#8230; the downside is that because of this, they&#039;re quite expensive). Regardless, they&#039;re dead-sexy and work wonderfully&#8230; and swap out 100% with our existing feet should she have a change of heart one day.<\/p>\n<p>+XL \/\/ She wanted something a bit longer. No problem \u2014 everything is a bit custom&#8230; but with heavy albums, a bit of support will be needed, so&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>+HD \/\/ With the extra length came extra support. We fashioned a support that joins the shelves (top to bottom) but doesn&#039;t hit the floor which helps to add a bit of stability&#8230; not as much as a full leg, but a bit.<\/p>\n<p>+MIN \/\/ I&#039;ve been working with adhesives for a while and this is something I can only do with shop assembled pieces (i.e.: local delivery), but instead of bolts holding the side panels in place, I used an industrial adhesive used to adhere architectural panels.
